Alumni Connections
  1. Brown Alumni Directory

    The Brown Alumni Directory is an online searchable database of alumni. In addition to using this powerful database to identify alumni contacts, it is important to update your profile so the University and fellow alumni can stay connected with you.

    Need Help? Email the Alumni Help Desk with any questions. Please include your full name, class year, and name while at Brown (if it has changed) along with your question.

  2. Global Brown Club Network

    Brown Clubs are volunteer alumni communities around the world. Currently, more than 100 clubs offer programming and engagement opportunities to keep you connected to Brown and to fellow alumni.

    Please note, Brown alumni are eligible to join the Cornell Club in New York which has reciprocity with a number of clubs around the world.

  3. Alumni Events

    The Alumni Events Calendar includes alumni events that are happening throughout the world and are a great way to stay in touch with Brown and make new connections with fellow alumni.  

  4. Commencement/Reunion Weekend

    Commencement and Reunion activities are a blended tradition at Brown, held each year over Memorial Day Weekend in late May. The School of Professional Studies graduates, alumni, faculty, administrators, family and friends join together with the entire Brown community for a weekend steeped in tradition, pageantry and celebration.

  5. BrownConnect

    BrownConnect, an initiative launched by President Paxson, is an online tool that connects students with alumni. Students can reach out to alumni learn more about career options (networking and internships). Alumni are encouraged to list internship opportunities on the site as well.

  2. University Outreach

    Email communications from Brown University include Brown in the News, a weekly digest of university news and events, and monthly Executive Program news and updates.

    All alumni will receive the Brown Alumni Magazine, a semi-monthly print publication, free of charge.

  3. Social Media Engagement

    The School of Professional Studies has a presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. The Hub also lists a number of additional Brown alumni groups on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

  4. Mobile App

    Download the free mobile app that includes Brown alumni, events, and news. Search for Brown Alumni Connect in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

Alumni Benefits
  1. Lifelong Email

    Alumni receive lifelong “” email addresses through Gmail. Additionally, alumni accounts will continue to include Google calendar, contacts, documents and sites. This transition takes place shortly after graduation and graduates are alerted to the transition via email.

  2. Library Privileges

    ​Alumni have both online access to library resources as well as borrowing privileges ​for physical materials at the University libraries.

  3. Rosetta Stone

    Alumni have access to Rosetta Stone language courses free of charge.

  4. College Advising Program

    The Brown Alumni College Advising Program (ACAP) is a free, independent college advising service for the children of Brown alumni. To learn more about this service, please visit the ACAP website.

  5. Pre-College Program Advising

    The School of Professional Studies develops hundreds of learning experiences for the pre-college population, including campus based programs, off-site experiences and online courses. If you are interested in learning more about these experiences for your child(ren), please review the options on the website or contact the office with any questions.

  2. Brown Faculty Club

    The Brown Faculty Club, in the heart of College Hill, offers membership to alumni. It is also a member organization of the Association of College and University Clubs and shares reciprocity among members.

  3. Athletic Facilities

    Alumni are offered special membership rates at the Brown Athletic Facilities. To learn more about these rates and for a membership application, please visit the Athletics Membership page.

  4. Brown Bookstore

    Located in the heart of College Hill, the Brown Bookstore is your resource for books about Brown, a robust span of publications and Brown branded materials, many of which are available via their online store.
