Broaden Your Impact
The Executive Master in Science and Technology Leadership program blends residential and online learning, allowing participants to work full time and to apply new knowledge and skills immediately in their work settings. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master’s degree from Brown University.
Key Program Dates - Class of 2018, beginning March 2017
Participants will have access to the program’s online learning environment in January 2017 to familiarize themselves with online learning, to get acquainted with their peers, and to prepare for the program with selected readings.
Tuition for the Class of 2018, beginning study March 2017: $78,500 US
The comprehensive tuition covers the 16-month academic program, related fees, program events and a number of meals during residential sessions. It does not include travel or room and board for the residential sessions at Brown University or the experiential learning session, or for books and materials that may be required for courses. Brown University requires all students to have health insurance from a US provider while on campus. Students who require this coverage may purchase it from the university.
A non-refundable $1,500 program deposit is due within 15 days of notification of acceptance and will be credited to program fee payment.

Paying for your education
The majority of students enrolled in this program are self-supported and/or supported in part by their employers. The University offers an Installment Payment Plan, which allows billed costs to be spread out over time. Students entering the program may be eligible for federal loans or veteran’s programs and can receive information and assistance from the Financial Aid Office at Brown University.
Limited scholarship support may be awarded to select candidates who have a record of outstanding achievements and demonstrate the potential to contribute significantly to peer-to-peer learning that is valued so highly in the program. Candidates from the government and public sector are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship committee will consider scholarship applications from candidates who are admitted to the program, complete a scholarship form, and provide documentation regarding their financial circumstances.
