Vaccination "Ask Me Anything" | Thursday, May 27, 11 am EDT

May 26, 2021

Dear Fellow Public Healthers,

As you know, I am thrilled by President Paxson's decision to require all Brown employees and students to be fully vaccinated this Summer and Fall. I know that many people have questions about the science behind the vaccines and their public health implications. To that end, I am hosting an open "Ask Me Anything" about COVID-19 vaccines tomorrow, Thursday, May 27 at 11 am EDT. You may register at this link, and a Zoom URL will be sent ahead of the event.

The AMA will be open to the Brown University community and alumni, and I'm looking forward to discussing questions and concerns about the scientific and health aspects of vaccines. Please note that I will not be able to provide details on Brown's policy itself.

I am excited to have this chance to meet with many of you ahead of Brown's full vaccination deadline of July 1 for both employees, and students engaging in on-campus activities this summer. I look forward to seeing you there!

Regards,
