BSS faculty Kate Carey has been awarded the 12th Annual Marlatt Mentorship Award by the Research Society on Alcohol (RSA). This award is given to an individual whose mentoring of young researchers in the alcohol research field is demonstrated to be exceptional.
The Research Society on Alcohol (RSA), formerly known as the Research Society on Alcoholism, was established in 1976. The mission of RSA is to provide a forum for communication and career development among alcohol researchers, to attract and support the next generation of alcohol researchers and to disseminate scientific knowledge regarding alcohol use and alcohol-related problems.
