The Institute conducts interdisciplinary research and education to healthier behaviors and environments. Current projects focus on clinical, behavioral and translational research related to HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C and other infectious diseases; improving dietary habits; increasing physical activity; weight control; encouraging smoking cessation; and using culturally sensitive materials to promote better health.
