I'm most interested in working in the areas of obesity and diabetes prevention and effective nutrition and physical activity promotion; my aim is to reduce the nature in which these diseases persist globally, ultimately impacting the health and quality of life among individuals of several developed and developing nations around the world.

Why Providence?
Providence has a great cultural appeal, with several diverse restaurants, activities and festivals to chose from according to your liking whenever you want to unwind and take time off from busy schedules. Being a smaller city, everything around feels walkable and it's easier to adjust and feel a sense of belonging in the community especially when you're new to the city!

It always helps to identify and think about the academic areas of interest that you are most drawn to and would like to pursue early on, so you can take advantage of identifying the best professors and researchers whom you would like to work with and learn from.
