Prospective Students

Thank you for your interest in the Brown University School of Public Health! The resources below will help start your exploration.

Why Public Health at Brown?

We are a working and learning community of faculty, staff, and students striving to improve the health of individuals and populations—in Providence and across the globe. We combine the advantages of a small, private college with the resources of a world-class Ivy League research university. Our small size and low student-faculty ratio mean enhanced learning and close mentorship. Our 12 renowned research centers mean big impact: We rank among the top 10 schools of public health for NIH funding. With relentless passion for rigorous research, public health at Brown University goes beyond preventing disease, to reshaping healthcare and safeguarding vulnerable populations.

We Learn Public Health by Doing Public Health!
