Tuition in the Brown MPH Program is charged on a per course basis. The required internship (PHP2070, the Public Health/Community Service Internship) has the same tuition as a course. Full-time students take 13 courses over 2 years.  Typically, full-time students register for 6 courses in year 1, and 7 in year 2.  Tuition for the 2017/18 academic year is $6,528.75/course for Fall 2017, and $6,529.00/course for Spring 2018.

Health insurance is required for all students. The cost of health insurance through the university is $3,615.00 for the 2017/18 academic year. Students who have comparable health insurance may submit a waiver form to the Insurance Office. Otherwise the University health insurance fee will be charged. In addition to the health insurance fee, there is a health services fee of $850.00 for the 2016/17 academic year. This fee supports the on campus Health Services Program which provides medical care and other health services to students. There is an additional charge of $60.00 for the graduate activity fee for the 2017/18 academic year. There is also a charge of $64.00 per semester for the graduate recreation fee.
