Tuition

Tuition in the Brown MPH Program is charged on a per course basis. Full-time students take 14 courses (12 standard and 2 half courses) over 2 years.  Full-time students register for 6.5 courses in year 1, and 6.5 in year 2.  Tuition for the 2018/19 academic year is $6,790.00/course.

Health insurance is required for all students. The cost of health insurance through the university is $3,846.00 for the 2018/19 academic year. Students who have comparable health insurance may submit a waiver form to the Insurance Office. Otherwise the University health insurance fee will be charged. In addition to the health insurance fee, there is a health services fee of $886.00 for the 2018/19 academic year. This fee supports the on campus Health Services Program which provides medical care and other health services to students. There are additional charges of $62.00 for the graduate activity fee and $64.00 for the graduate recreation fee for the 2018/19 academic year.
