Three Epidemiology Faculty Awarded Seed Awards

Brown University's annual Research Seed Awards help faculty more successfully advance research proposals by supporting the generation of preliminary data and the pursuit of new directions or collaborations in research. Three teams of public health faculty have received these competitive awards in 2020 for their projects improving maternal and child health in South Africa, exploring the association between greenspace and mental and physical health among pregnant women, and investigating the effect of a driver's license suspension on access to health care. Congratulations to Angela Bengtson, Ph.D., Steven McGarvey, Ph.D., and Nina Joyce, Ph.D.! Learn more
