HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH

The Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice within the School of Public Health at Brown University invites applications for an open rank faculty position in Health Services Research at the Assistant, Associate or Professor (Research) level.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree (MD or PhD) in health services research, epidemiology, economics or related discipline, with evidence of rigorous training and research, and a capacity to secure external funding.  Senior applicants must also have a national/international reputation in health services research, an independently funded program of research and a proven track record of professional service.  We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in gerontology/post-acute care, long-term care, epidemiology, pharmaco-economics, and cluster randomized trials, but all applicants will receive full consideration.  Applicants may be in the early phases of their careers, and if so are not expected to have a funding track record.  However, such candidates should have interest in, and the potential to, develop an independently funded program of research.  Interest and experience in aging, post-acute care, and long-term care are desirable but not required.

Applicants should apply through Interfolio at http://apply.interfolio.com/47348.

Candidates should arrange for at least three letters of recommendation to be submitted through Interfolio.

Review of applications will begin on December 1, 2017.  Full consideration will be given to all applications received by February 15, 2018.  Applications received after the priority deadline may be reviewed until the position is filled or the search is closed.
