We are delighted to welcome these five outstanding incoming HSR doctoral students who will be joining the Brown University School of Public Health community in the Fall. They enter our program with a diverse range of research interests and prior experiences in health services and policy. We are looking forward to working with these emerging leaders and scholars over the next several years!

Andrew Huang, a former health data analyst at Blue Cross of California and a graduate from Cornell's Master's in Health Science program.
Hannah James, a former senior research associate at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission and a graduate of Harvard's School of Public Health in their Health Systems Master's program.
Debbie Nyakaru, a graduate from Cornell's Global and Public Health Sciences undergraduate program, with minors in Health Policy and Inequality Studies.
Grace Oh, a former health analyst at Mathematica and a recipient of a master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Emily O'Neill, a fellow in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy at Providence's VA and a recipient of a PharmD from the University of Florida.
Joe Silva holds a master's degree from Brown's epidemiology program with an undergraduate degree in medical laboratory science from the University of Rhode Island.
