Bora Youn Wins American Lung Association Dissertation Grant

Congratulations to Bora Youn for receiving a dissertation award from the American Lung Association for her study entitled, "Evaluating the real-world use, effectiveness, and costs of novel therapies for advanced non-small cell lung cancer". Her committee members are Issa Dahabreh, Ira Wilson, and Vince Mor.

 

Kevin Nguyen, lead author of study published in Health Affairs

As announced by Brown on August 9th, HSR doctoral student Kevin Nguyen was the lead author of a study in the August issue of Health Affairs.

Resnik Awarded VA Research Grant

PROVIDENCE – Linda Resnik, a research scientist at the Center for Neurorestoration and Neurotechnology at the Providence VA Medical Center, has been awarded nearly $600,000 by the Department of Veterans Affairs Rehabilitation Research and Development Service to conduct a three­year research study to improve upper­limb prostheses for women veteran amputees.
