Call for pilot proposals to test non-drug dementia interventions

Grant funding

A new funding opportunity is available through our National Institute on Aging grant to lead a nationwide effort to improve health care and quality of life for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as their caregivers. One of the grant's objectives is to fund and provide expert assistance to up to 40 pilot trials that will test non-drug, care-based interventions for people living with dementia. The 2019 call for pilot proposals is now open, with letters of intent due October 11, 2019 and full applications (by invitation only) due December 6, 2019.
