Survey of long-term care staff working during the pandemic now live

A Q&I survey of frontline staff working in long-term care during the coronavirus pandemic is now live.

The pandemic has underscored the unique vulnerability of nursing centers, assisted living communities, and other long-term care settings, which have experienced high infection and mortality rates despite adopting stringent policies to restrict visitors and attempt to keep the virus from entering their facilities. The project team, led by Rosa Baier and Dr. Betsy White, aims to capture the voices of workers and understand their experiences, in order to help others on the front lines and inform national discussion of long-term care needs, such as personal protective equipment. The project is one of 15 that recently received Brown seed funding for COVID-19 research.

The team encourages frontline staff to take this brief survey and to share the link (brown.edu/go/COVIDinLTC) with friends, colleagues, and organizations representing their professions.
