Biography

The PruittHealth family of providers includes 86 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, 29 hospice agencies, 15 home health agencies, four assisted living communities, an independent living community, six pharmacies, and a medical supply company.

Mr. Pruitt is responsible for PruittHealth's strategic direction and for fostering an environment focused on the delivery of quality care. His quality improvement initiatives and emphasis on a patient-centric corporate culture have made PruittHealth a leader in the provision of post-acute and senior living services.

Mr. Pruitt is a nationally-recognized leader, as demostrated by numerous appointments including his 2013 Congressional appointment to the Commission for Long-Term Care. The 15-member Commission was charged with developing plans for a comprehensive, coordinated, and high-quality system ensuring long-term care for older adults and people with disabilities. He is also the Immediate Past Chair of AHCA's Board of Governors.

Mr. Pruitt has a BA in Economics from the University of the South, and both a MBA and a MHA from Georgia State University.
