Elizabeth Goldberg, Fellow 2016-18
The Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research has been an excellent source of mentorship and growth for me. The faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you succeed in research. I have been very impressed by the array of opportunities to help improve my grantsmanship, writing skills, and publishing skills. These include the internal grant reviews, the brown bag lecture series, and the K award seminars. I highly recommend this fellowship to any clinical and non-clinical scholars!
Jennifer Nazareno, Fellow 2015-17
The opportunity to receive Post-Doctoral research training at the Center has made a significant impact on my research and how I think through the current and future issues related to the U.S. long-term care system and industry. You gain outstanding mentorship and training from top researchers in the fields of gerontology, health services and policy. In addition to the opportunities to collaborate on various research projects, you also receive excellent training on grant writing and publishing. The faculty and staff are very supportive and invested in your academic success. I strongly recommend this post-doctoral fellowship to early-career scholars!
Clara Berridge, Fellow 2015-16
The past two years in this postdoctoral fellowship exceeded my expectations in multiple ways. As postdocs, we were fully integrated into the interdisciplinary intellectual community, mentored closely on our own research, grant seeking, and professional networking, and had rich opportunities to develop skills as members of strong research teams. I could not imagine a fuller or more supported learning experience.
