In Going Mobile with Public History, Professor Mark Tebeau will explore the challenges of developing mobile interpretive strategies for a variety of cultural organizations, focusing on historical site and museums. He will theorize how mobile technologies are transforming the practice of cultural interpretation, with a focus on technologies, organizational strategies, and especially how to build interpretive programs around mobile technologies. The workshop will feature some hands-on exploration of mobile projects, including an imaginative walk through the built environment surrounding the Nightingale Brown House.
