Directly translated to “celebration writings” a festschrift is an edited volume of essays and tributes compiled in honor of a living scholar. This gathering will convene volume contributors, scholars, former students, and family members for panel discussions celebrating and contextualizing Dr. West’s extraordinary academic contributions. Speakers include Imani Perry, Farah Jasmine Griffin, Eddie Glaude Jr., and many more.
