Please join us for a “What I Am Thinking About Now” presentation by Dotun Ayobade, Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University. Professor Ayobade locates his scholarship and teaching in the areas of dance, performance, and African popular culture, as well as in the intersection of gender, class, and nation in the production of myriad theatre and performance forms in postcolonial Nigeria. The title of his talk is, “Unknown Soldier: The Postcolonial State and the Geopolitics of an Intimate Invasion.”
