New Testament & Early Christian Studies Day

The New Testament and Early Christian Studies Day is the successor to the longstanding annual  Harvard-Yale-Brown Day for New Testament, which was formerly hosted by each of these three institutions in turn.  At the 2017 gathering, the attending students expressed their deisre to widen participation in the event.  In response to this request, we are expanding the invitation list for 2018 to include our colleagues at Tufts and Boston University.  Please join us in welcoming our neighbors.  Events begin at 1:30pm.

The program will consist of the following:

  • Refreshments and mingling.
  • Panel "Explorations in Material Culture," featuring Drs.
    Michael Satlow (Brown)
    Stephen Davis (Yale)
    Dora Ivanišević (Brown)
  • Lecture by Professor Larry Wills (Brown), titled "This is What a Jesus Movement Looks Like: Weighing Early Gospel Evidence"
  • Dinner (Invitation Only)
