Mentoring student groups
Research Impact staff partner with STEM student groups and help them connect with science faculty in related research areas. We assist student groups with curriculum development and hands-on activities, help develop assessment rubrics, and provide resources. All Brown students are qualified to participate in existing programs or work with staff to develop ideas for new initiatives.
Enhancing Sustained Partnerships
Research Impact in collaboration with members of Broader Impacts committee facilitates sustainable working relationships with local elementary, middle, and high school teachers, as well as area school districts and their administrators. Students can work with Research Impact staff to determine how their programmatic or pedagogical ideas can be implemented in the sustainable contexts through existing programs or partnerships.
