Jamie Tyrol joined the staff at TAPS in 2016 after acting as Interim Managing Director for American Theatre Company in Chicago. Before that she was the General Manager at Atlantic Theater Company for eight years, working on over 60 Off-Broadway productions including The Threepenny Opera, directed and choreographed by Martha Clarke; the new musical Found by Hunter Bell and Lee Overtree; and world premieres of plays by Ethan Coen, John Guare, Melissa James Gibson, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Conor McPherson, John Patrick Shanley, Simon Stephens, and Doug Wright, among others. Prior to the Atlantic, Jamie was an Associate General Manager for the commercial general management firm Snug Harbor Productions, working on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions including Peter Brook’s Tierno Bokar, Evil Dead: The Musical, and Ring of Fire. Jamie was also the General Manager at New York Stage and Film for five years, supporting the development of over 75 plays and musicals. She served on the Board of Directors of the Off-Broadway League of Producers and Theatres from 2012-2015, participating in the collective bargaining process with Actors' Equity Association and the Society of Directors and Choreographers. Jamie holds a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
