Two plays in Erik Ehn's play cycle, Soulographie: Our Genocides will be in rehearsal and performance in downtown Providence for two weeks in October. Yermedea Raw, Directed by TAPS faculty, Kym Moore will be in performance at 95 Empire Street, Providence from October 11-14. The following week, performers from Uganda and the US will be in rehearsal at 95 Empire for Ehn's Maria Kizito. There will be an open rehearsal for that play on October 18 from 4-7pm. Yermedea Raw is set in Central America. The play draws inspiration from the horrors of the civil war in El Salvador. Maria Kizito explores the payer life of a real-lif nun who participated in the murder of 7,000 refugees at her Rwandan convent.
