MPP PhD Student Alissa Oakes was awarded a Sidney E. Frank Fellowship for 2020-2021.

The Sidney E Frank Fellowship awards are made possible by the 2006 endowment gift from the Sidney Frank Foundation to support meritorious pre-doctoral training within the Division of Biology and Medicine. Nomination of matriculating students with exceptional merit were solicited from all Graduate Programs within the Division. A broadly representative faculty committee reviewed these nominees and selected two students, from a group of outstanding nominees, to receive this award based on academic excellence and potential for success.
