Financial Aid - Need Blind Admission
Need-blind admission simply means that an applicant's ability to pay for their education will not be a determining factor in the admission decision.  Brown actively strives to create a socioeconomically diverse applicant pool and undergraduate student body.

This need-blind policy applies to first year applicants who are U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents regardless of the program to which the applicant has applied.  Brown will continue to consider Transfer and International student's financial need when deciding to admit, wait list, or deny the applicant.
