Bear Market Food Exchange

We are currently asking our community to share feedback with us regarding use and access to the Bear Market Food Exchange. Please use this link to provide your thoughts via an anonymous feedback form.

Located outside of our offices on the 4th Floor of Page-Robinson building (across from Room 411), this pantry shelf is stocked by donations from students, faculty & staff , and supplemented monthly by the Office of the Chaplains and Religious Life.

This small food pantry is available for anyone struggling to get enough to eat. Please feel free to take anything on the shelves.

All community members are welcome to contribute non-perishable food. If you would like to donate, you can drop off your donation in a bag or box, or simply add food to our shelves.

Some items you might typically find on the shelves are:

  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Canned Fish
  • Peanut Butter
  • Crackers
  • Popcorn
  • Tortillas
  • Sauces/Salsas
  • & more!

If you are in need of additional Local Food Assistance, please visit the RI Food Bank to view their current Food Assitance List. As of August 2022 we will also make a hard copy of this lst available by the Bear Market Food Exchange Pantry shelf.
