CareerLAB staff partners with faculty to present career-related workshops and speakers that align with the material of a course. Recent programs include Writing a TeXnical Resume with the Science Center, Alumni Speaker Series: Andrew Susman '09, Studio One Productions with the American Studies department, and a Resume Writing Workshop with Brown Wrestling. We generally offer the following programs:
- Self-Assessment – utilizing tools such as the Strong Interest Inventory that help students articulate career interests.
- Skills Workshops – programs on Networking, Resume Writing, Interviewing, and more.
- Alumni Speakers – industry experts who present at CareerLAB also enjoy visiting classrooms.
- Visit a local organization – bring course material to life and also hear about career opportunities.
We can discuss many other topics as well. These programs can be done at your regular class time or another time of your choice. If you are interested in collaborating with one of our career experts, email [email protected].
