Careers in the Common Good Winternships (CCG Winternships)

Careers in the Common Good Virtual Winternships

Each winter break, Brown students have the opportunity to work on engaging, high-impact projects for social impact organizations and companies. The projects last only two weeks but provide students with hands-on experience with top-notch organizations, and employers with a pipeline of talented individuals who have the potential to feed into other internships.

January 2023 program:

CCG Winternships 2023 program dates: January 9-20, 2023

Over 30 different non-profits and social ventures offer remote/virtual January opportunities through the CCG Winternships Program.

All participating received an award for participating in the program. Participants receive a base stipend of $300.

Students with financial need receive supplemental gap award of an additional $200 or $300, depending on level of demonstrated university financial need, bringing the total stipend to $500 or $600 for students on financial aid.

Applicants must be active Brown undergraduate students enrolled in the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. Students on leave for either semester or graduating in December 2022 are not eligible.

Students with all concentrations and work histories are encouraged to apply.

Previous participation in a SPRINT-funded program does not prevent you from participating in CCG Winternships. Students may participate in CCG Winternships and still apply for a BrownConnect Signature Program or other SPRINT funding in the future. Previous CCG Winternships participants are eligible to apply, but should not apply for an opportunity with an organization where you have previously interned.

Students on financial aid receive preference in the selection process.
