As parents or family members beyond Brown, you are critical partners in supporting students. Given how well you likely know an individual student, you may be the very first to begin to perceive changes in behavior, note signs of distress, or experience a feeling of concern.

We hope the information on this site will be helpful to you as well as to faculty and students on campus.  We encourage you to use the SHOULD I BE CONCERNED and WHAT CAN I DO sections of this website, and to communicate with your student directly about your concern, encouraging them to take advantage of University resources.
