Southern New England Partnership In Stroke Research, Innovation and Treatment (SPIRIT) StrokeNet Fellowship

Each year, SPIRIT seeks to enroll one to two fellows funded up to $50,000 (salary and fringe) with 50% dedicated research time while they learn methods for clinical research and complete a clinical research project. Each SPIRIT fellow will be paired with a StrokeNet coinvestigator faculty mentor, coupled with direct mentorship from Dr. Walter Kernan at Yale University. At the end of the one-year fellowship, fellows are expected to advance in their trajectory toward an academic career related to vascular neurology.

Eligible candidates include clinicians, residents, fellows or junior faculty at any of the SPIRIT institutions (Yale, Hartford and Brown).

Deadline: Applications are due on April 1, 2020.
