Southern New England Partnership In Stroke Research, Innovation and Treatment (SPIRIT) StrokeNet Fellowship

Each year, SPIRIT seeks to enroll one to two fellows funded up to $50,000 (salary and fringe) with 50% dedicated research time while they learn methods for clinical research and complete a clinical research project. Each SPIRIT fellow will be paired with a StrokeNet coinvestigator faculty mentor, coupled with direct mentorship from Dr. Walter Kernan at Yale University. At the end of the one-year fellowship, fellows are expected to advance in their trajectory toward an academic career related to vascular neurology.


Eligibility:
Eligible candidates include clinicians, residents, fellows or junior faculty at any of the SPIRIT institutions (Yale, Hartford and Brown).​
