Gretchen Schrafft joined the Carney Institute in March 2023. She reports on discoveries and innovations taking place at Carney for both external and internal audiences. She holds a PhD in English and literary arts from the University of Denver, and an MFA in creative writing from Oregon State University. She has worked as a journalist for more than a dozen years, covering arts and culture, politics and technology, and--most recently--higher education stories of all kinds.
