What is your favorite activity outside of the classroom?

Ballroom dancing, exploring Providence, and reading

Why did you decide to pursue research in brain science?

The brain is superbly important but remains pretty mysterious. I think it's important to understand how certain mutations or certain ailments can affect the brain and its functions in order to begin proper treatment.

What research project and laboratory did you work in?

ALS in Professor Robert Reenan's lab

What is your most memorable experience from your training in brain science?

The environment, community, and the experiments!

What have you learned from this experience that you are applying to other aspects of your Brown degree?

I have definitely been applying Drosophila knowledge and lab skills to class labs.

What would you like to do after graduating?

I would like to attend medical school.
