The workshop will consist of four plenary invited talks, a number of contributed short talks (~5-min). There will also be a poster competition, and introducing “Gallery of Mechanics”.

Invited Speakers

Lallit Anand, Massachusetts Institute for Technology
"Mechanics of Metallic Glasses and Granular Materials: Constitutive Equations and Strain Localization"
David R. Clarke, Harvard University
        "Rumpling"
Greg Grason, University of Massachusetts, Amherst
"Nonlinear Structure and Mechanics of Filament Bundles: Twist, Frustration & Topological Defects"
