A Data Protection Working Group comprising Brown administrators overseeing areas of data use and security, risk and compliance, and communications has been charged by the Office of the Provost to align the University’s policies with changes in laws pertaining to data sharing and privacy.

Working Group’s Charge
Strengthen Brown University’s policies and practices for data protection in light of ongoing changes to data sharing/privacy regulations, including those issued by the European Union. Develop an implementation plan that includes communications to disseminate these revised policies and practices across the institution.
