[email protected] (events.brown.edu) is the online calendar system for promoting events hosted across campus, with functionality to embed tailored event feeds into various websites throughout brown.edu.

LiveWhale is the software platform that runs [email protected].

Calendars (or Calendar Groups)

On [email protected], individual campus units have their own calendars. Each calendar has a set of users and a distinct collection of events. Events can be shared between calendar groups.

Examples of individual calendar groups include Chemistry, the Haffenreffer Museum and Public Safety.

Event Listing Page

Events listing pages display an aggregated set of events. These listing pages display events organized by calendar, by date, by type and by tag.

Event Detail Page

Events detail pages display all the relevant information about a single event.
