Churchill House is the home of Africana Studies and Rites and Reasons Theatre.

As part of a sweeping commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2040 and abate local noise and air pollution, Brown is transitioning from gas-powered to electric equipment and vehicles.  All new University vehicle purchases must be electric or plug-in hybrid electric.

Two new residence halls, Chen Family Hall (250 Brook Street) and the William and Ami Danoff Hall (259 Brook Street) opened Fall 2023, adding 353 beds to Brown's housing inventory.

A unique residence hall and student services hub, Sternlicht Commons is devoted entirely to promoting health, happiness and well-being for Brown's full student population.

The Lindemann Performing Arts Center supports performance, teaching, and research for music, theater, and dance.
