Community Programming Coordinators

We organize programming with the aim of building community among international students on campus. Including but not limited to, monthly trips within New England (in the past we’ve taken students to go snow tubing, to see alpacas, and to Newport’s beautiful beaches), study breaks with fondue, face masks, and painting when midterm season rolls around, and food-filled welcome back events.  Please reach out to us at [email protected] to collaborate or learn more about what we do!

Cultural Programming Coordinators

The cultural programming team organizes programming to facilitate cultural exchange among the diverse student community, create spaces for intercultural dialogue, and foster conversations around intersectionality for both international and domestic students. The team puts together International Education Week and International Festival, Brown’s largest cross-cultural extravaganzas!

International Mentoring Program (IMP) Coordinators

The International Mentoring Program is a year-long program that facilitates the transition of international students to life at Brown and in the United States. Led by four student coordinators and a team of over 20 mentors, IMP organizes international undergraduate orientation for around 300 students and events throughout the year such as the IMP Gala, gingerbread making, karaoke, and study breaks.
