International Mentoring Program
IMP engages incoming undergraduates who identify as international, regardless of their legal status or place of residence, in the academic, co-curricular, and social opportunities and challenges of coming to Brown and the U.S.
What does IMP do?
IMP, primarily organized and run by undergraduate international students, offers social, academic, and educational support through a yearlong peer advising program. The program is comprised of approximately 26 upper-class students and an administrative advisor. IMP introduces incoming international students to life at Brown through:
- Pre-arrival Communication
- International Orientation
- Yearlong Peer Mentoring
- Campus Life and Academic Workshops
- Social Gatherings
