Finding pediatric health information is an essential element in maintaining the good health and well being of your child. However, finding a comprehensive resource that covers all topics covering birth to adolescence can be challenging. Fortunately, The American Academy of Pediatrics(AAP) has dedicated itself to providing such a resource. The AAP is an organization of health and medical professionals who are committed to improving the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. To help achieve this goal, the AAP publishes Pediatric Patient Education Handouts, a list of handouts on various health information topics covering birth to young adulthood. Examples of these include chronic health conditions, learning disabilities, nutrition and infectious diseases. These are made more accessible by being available in Spanish. In addition, the AAP website also has a customization tool that allows the user to customize handouts by entering practice information.
