Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra) or later

Uninstall any earlier versions of this software prior to installing the new version.

Be sure to close all applications and verify that your operating system meets the system requirements.

Windows Installation Instructions (click to expand)

Using the link provided, download NVivo 140 for Windows (64-bit).
Right-Mouse-Click on the downloaded EXE file and select "Run as Administrator" and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Once the installation is complete, launch NVivo

macOS Installation Instructions (click to expand)

Using the link provided, download "NVivo 14 for macOS."
Double-click on the NVivo installer.
Open the Applications folder from within the installer and drag NVivo from there to the Applications folder on the hard drive.
Wait while the installation continues.
Complete the license activation fields during installation.
Once the installation is complete, launch NVivo.
Enter the NVivo 14 product key TIP: It's best to enter the serial number manually rather than copy-and-paste to prevent extraneous spaces and having the serial number rejected.

**Important:

If you are on a MacOS and have trouble with the error message "NVivo needs permission to access data on your computer before it can run." and you have already added NVivo to the "Security & Privacy" preference and still doesn't work. Here is an IT article on how to fix this issue.
