Download the SPSS installer using the button on the right provided.
IMPORTANT: Right-Mouse Click Install_SPSS27.exe and select "run as administrator"
Install the program by clicking Next.
When the installation is complete, Click Finish.
"Authorized user license..." is selected by default at the Product Authorization dialog. Click Next.
Enter the version 27 license authorization code and click Next.
You will receive a "successfully processed all codes" notification. Click Next.
When presented with the Licensing Completed dialog, click Finish.

SPSS software is renewed annually in the summer months. If you already have SPSS installed and simply need to renew your annual license, follow these instructions:

Updating your SPSS license

Use the authorization wizard located in the Windows Start menu (Start..All Programs..IBM SPSS Statistics..SPSS Statistics 27 License Authorization Wizard).
At the License Status dialog, click “Next.”
Select “License my product now” and click “Next.”
Enter this license update code and click “Next.”
You will receive an “authorization succeeded” notification. Click “Next.”
When presented with the Licensing Completed dialog, click “Finish.”

For individual installations:

Download and install SPSS using the link provided, accepting all licenses and all default options.
Click on the "License product" button and click Next at the License Status dialog.
"Authorized user license..." should be selected by default, Click Next.
Enter the version 27 license authorization code and click "Next."
You will receive a "successfully processed all codes" notification. Click "Next."
When presented with the Licensing Completed dialog, click "Finish."

Additional Notes:

SPSS may be used on Brown University-owned computers only by Brown faculty, staff and students. Six- or twelve-month home-use licenses for personal computers may be purchased by visiting the Brown University WebStore and selecting "Grad Pack" software.
