Download the Stata installer using the link provided.
"Right-Click" Install_Stata17.exe from the downloads folder and select "Run as Administrator".
Follow the on-screen prompts to install Stata 17.

*Special instructions if you are prompted for a license:

Make sure Stata is closed and not running.
Go to C:\brownsw\stata17\
Copy the STATA.LIC file (you may not see the .LIC part)
Go to C:\Program Files\Stata17
Paste the copied file in this folder

Download Stata SE using the link provided on the right.
Double-click the downloaded "StataSE-17.pkg" file to begin installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the installer and accept all default install options.
When the installation is complete, launch "StataSE" from the "/Applications/Stata" folder.
