Women & Infants Receives NIH Award for Reproductive Health

Dr. Maureen Phipps, Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Women & Infants Hospital and a member of the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute's Executive Committee, has just been named Deputy Director of a new research program, COBRE for Reproductive Health. This competitive $11 million award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) will bring together an interdisciplinary group of researchers to study issues in women's reproductive health, including how pregnancy complications affect women's health long-term.
