Single Cell Transcriptomics

Professor Z. Wu is developing methods for single-cell RNA-sequencing, a powerful new technology to investigate transcriptomic variation and regulation at the individual cell level. These methods will enable accurate quantification of transcription activity in individual cells, identification of cell functional types/subtypes and the biological topics different cells engage in to perform their functions, and discovery of the link between cell heterogeneity and the phenotype at cell population level.
