Bernadette Aulestia, class of 1994

Bernadette Aulestia is a Senior Executive, Board Director and strategist recognized for fast-tracking through one of the world’s most innovative, premium media brands by identifying opportunities, driving revenue growth, and leading HBO’s digital transformation worldwide.

Aulestia is an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage technology and consumer product companies, with a focus on direct-to-consumer commerce, sustainability, and the future of food. She is a board member of the Denny’s Corporation, Nexstar Media Group, and Angeles Investors. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Brown University.

Aulestia has been honored as one of Fortune Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Latinas in Business, Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business, and the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment. She earned a dual degree in Economics and Development Studies from Brown University in 1994. Aulestia lives in South Orange, New Jersey with her husband and three daughters.
