Rocket Launch

Launch Announcement:

The Rhode Island Model Rocketry Association (RIMRA) is happy to announce
that are a go for launch this Saturday, June 20th, 2019!

Due to the anticipated heat wave that is coming this weekend, we are making
three important changes to the July 20 launch.
*       Launch window: 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Set-up will begin ~8:00 am.
*       Low-power and mid-power rockets only. No rockets over 3.3 lbs
(including the motor) and the largest allowable motor will be a G80.
*       Following the launch, RIMRA will host a pizza lunch at Tony's
<https://tonyspizzari.com/>  for all flyers who paid a launch fee.

If you are unable to join us for the launch, come celebrate the Apollo 11
moon landing with us at WaterFire in downtown Providence, sponsored by the
NASA Space Grant and featuring an exhibit by RIMRA: https://waterfire.org/
The launch is open to the public and will feature model rockets ranging from 6 inches to 6 feet tall.  Anyone who has built a model rocket is welcome to participate, and spectators are always encouraged to attend.  For more information, check our website (www.rimra.org) or find us on Facebook.
