REDCap is a secure web application that serves as an electronic data capture tool for research studies. REDCap allows users to build and manage online surveys and databases quickly and easily. 

Additionally, the Lifespan REDCap Users Group is a Google group available to all Rhode Island researchers. It serves as a communication forum for usage questions, troubleshooting and brainstorming.

Data Sharing and Management Services

The Brown University Library, through its Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS), provides  services to assist researchers with the writing of data management and sharing plans, and archiving, sharing and publishing data in repositories such as the Brown Digital Repository (BDR).

Data and Computational Resources Network

The Lifespan Data and Computational Resources Network (DCRN) is focused on finding and fostering collaborations, and expanding the places where data experts add value. It acts as a forum and sounding board for technology, professional, and logistical issues arising throughout the research community. The DCRN is open to all Rhode Island researchers.
