Advance-CTR is offering to send one investigator to the Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship's five-day Certificate Program, happening February 27 to March 3, 2019 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The IBE Certificate Program is designed to provide researchers in the life sciences with practical, hands-on knowledge and skills that help them evolve their innovations from lab to market. It can be useful for anyone having an idea and much, little or no pre-existing entrepreneurial experience.
Participants will have access to business development and financing resources through the program, and will become integrated into IBE's extensive network. The IBE program is having a profound effect on translation, innovation and R&D, at both large and small biopharma companies.
How to Apply:
Interested applicants must send the following materials to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Thursday, January 31, 2019. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The application materials are:
- Biosketch (required);
- Up to a one-page summary of your biomedical innovation or idea, including one paragraph that details how the Certificate Program will help you in your professional development (required); and
- Any additional materials related to your interest or experience in biomedical entrepreneurship (optional).
Please send the application materials as a single pdf.
Details: One individual will be selected to attend. Advance-CTR will cover the course fee, travel costs and accommodations for the selected participant (meal expenses are not included). More information about the Certificate Program can be found on IBEInc.org. Or, email Joseph_Rego@brown.edu with any questions.
