How to plan with Planon
Facilities Management successfully transitioned from FAMIS to Planon's Integrated Workplace Management System in September of 2020. This new technology will help to enhance the event management experience giving those planning an event on campus more control over their requests.
Access to real-time costs for equipment (labor estimates will be included in a comprehensive estimate from Event Support)
Order transparency allowing users to follow the progress of submitted orders
A user-friendly hub where users can access previous orders, as well as see current orders and supporting documents in one place
Those planning an event on campus can submit an event request at planon.brown.edu. Please note that any in person events taking place prior to August 15, 2021 need to be submitted for approval via the in person event request form.
A variety of training videos including Submitting a Service Request, Viewing a Submitted Request and Billing Allocations are available. Users can also access these trainings when logging in to Planon.
