The mission of CAAS Rounds is to bring together scientists from different disciplines and perspectives (e.g., psychologists, physicians, health care professionals) in order to stimulate expansive thinking, foster social interaction, and promote new collaborations at Brown. CAAS Rounds is a highly-regarded and well-attended series that welcomes the participation of staff, students, trainees, and faculty at Brown and its affiliated hospitals.
Recent talks include "Integrating Technology to create Just-in-Time (JIT) interventions for Alcohol Use Disoder" by Dr. Claire Blevins and "Micro-level Milestones and Transitions among Emerging Adults not in Four-Year College" by Dr. Matt Meisel.
Each week, CAAS Rounds also offers the opportunity for attendees to be entered into a drawing to win a raffle prize. Prizes vary from week to week, but often consist of gift cards to local establishments or other cool gifts!
CAAS Rounds takes place at 121 South Main Street, Providence, RI in Room 245 on Fridays at noon (almost every week) during the academic year.
